Who we are

Veriweld is a product of Idlewise Ventures LLC, an Indiana limited liability company. Idlewise Ventures LLC is the data controller for any personal information collected through veriweld.com. You can reach us at Brad@idlewiseventuresllc.com.

What we collect

This site collects only what you give us, plus minimal anonymous traffic data.

• Lead form submissions. When you fill out the "Request" form on the homepage, we collect the name, email, company, and project context you provide. Form submissions are routed through Formspree and delivered to our inbox.
• Anonymous traffic analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count pageviews, top pages, and referrers. No cookies. No cross-site tracking. No IP logging beyond what Vercel needs to serve the page. Visitors are not individually identifiable in this data.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider (Vercel) retains short-term access logs for security and debugging. These contain IP addresses, timestamps, and request paths. We do not use these for marketing.

The Veriweld mobile app

The Veriweld mobile app is a field tool used by inspectors at pipeline welding projects. It requires an account on the Veriweld server operated for the contracting organization, and it collects the following solely to provide the inspection service:

• Precise location (GPS). When an inspector captures a weld or inspection record, the app can tag it with the device's GPS coordinates so the record is tied to where the work was performed.
• Photos. Inspectors attach photos of welds and materials to inspection records as documentation.
• Inspection content. Weld and NDT data, material-tag scans, signatures, and comments entered by the inspector.
• Account and device identifiers. The account username (to authenticate the inspector and attribute records in the audit trail) and a per-device identifier (to keep offline submissions in sync and to deliver push notifications).

This data is transmitted only to the Veriweld server operated for the inspector's organization, solely to provide the inspection and quality-assurance service. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or use it to track you across other apps or websites. The app does not collect analytics, browsing history, contacts, or financial, health, or audio data.

How we use it

• To reply to your inquiry and follow up about Veriweld.
• To understand which pages are useful and which aren't.
• To improve the product and the site.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not run drip campaigns or sell our email list.

Who we share it with

Limited service providers, only as needed to operate the site:

• Vercel for site hosting and analytics.
• Formspree for lead form delivery.
• Google Workspace for email delivery.

Each of these has its own privacy policy and data-processing terms.

Your rights

You can ask us to delete the information we have about you at any time. Email Brad@idlewiseventuresllc.com with the subject line "Privacy request" and we'll confirm within 30 days. This applies regardless of which jurisdiction you're in.

Children

This site is aimed at construction professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

We'll update this page when the policy changes and bump the "Last Updated" date above. Material changes will be announced on the site for at least 30 days before taking effect.

Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, United States. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts in Allen County, Indiana.
