SOLUTIONS · NDT MANAGEMENT

NDT management software for pipeline welds.

Veriweld brings nondestructive testing into the same record as the weld. Lab techs enter RT, MT, and UT reader sheets; the inspector cosigns; results cross-reference to the weld log automatically; and every rejection and reshoot is tracked through turnover.

Reader sheets, captured and cosigned

NDT labs work in multi-weld reader sheets, not one report per weld. Veriweld captures that shape directly: a technician enters the sheet, each row carries its own result, and the inspector cosigns with a per-row verdict before anything commits to the QC record.

Lab partners get a dedicated NDT technician role to enter their own sheets (a free seat that doesn’t count against the inspector cap) while the inspector keeps the cosign authority that puts results on the record.

Results tied to the weld

The hard part of NDT records isn’t entry. It’s matching results back to the right weld. Veriweld does it on approval: when a reader-sheet row clears or rejects a weld, that weld in the weld log is cross-referenced to the result automatically. No spreadsheet lookup, no transposed weld number.

Rejections and reshoots, tracked

A rejection isn’t the end of the story. It’s a repair and a reshoot. Veriweld keeps the lineage: the original result, the repair, and the reshoot that cleared it are linked, so the disposition of every rejected weld is visible rather than buried in a thread of emails.

NDT in the turnover package

Because NDT lives in the same project record as the welds it inspects, it’s already in the turnover package. The 49 CFR Part 192 export pulls the NDT results in alongside the weld log, MTR provenance, and audit trail (signed PDFs preserved) instead of a separate binder assembled at closeout.

Frequently asked questions

What is NDT management software?

NDT management software records and tracks nondestructive testing results (RT, MT, and UT) and ties them to the welds they inspect. On pipeline construction it brings reader sheets, acceptances, rejections, and reshoots into the same record as the weld log instead of a separate stack of lab reports.

Which NDT methods does it support?

Veriweld captures RT, MT, and UT reader sheets. Reader-sheet entry is structured for multi-weld lab sheets, and each row carries its own result so a single sheet can clear some welds and reject others.

How do NDT results connect to the weld log?

Automatically. When an NDT result is approved, the matching weld in the log is cross-referenced to it, with no manual matching of reader sheets to weld numbers. Pull a weld and its NDT history is right there; pull a reader sheet and you can see every weld it covers.

Can third-party NDT labs enter results?

Yes. A dedicated NDT technician role lets a lab partner enter reader sheets directly, which the inspector then cosigns with a per-row verdict before the results commit to the record. The NDT tech seat is free, and it doesn’t count against the inspector seat cap.

Are NDT records included in regulatory turnover?

Yes. NDT results are part of the 49 CFR Part 192 turnover package, alongside the weld log, MTR provenance, and audit trail, with signed PDFs preserved for every result.
