Lab partners get a dedicated NDT technician role to enter their own sheets (a free seat that doesn’t count against the inspector cap) while the inspector keeps the cosign authority that puts results on the record.
Results tied to the weld
The hard part of NDT records isn’t entry. It’s matching results back to the right weld. Veriweld does it on approval: when a reader-sheet row clears or rejects a weld, that weld in the weld log is cross-referenced to the result automatically. No spreadsheet lookup, no transposed weld number.
Rejections and reshoots, tracked
A rejection isn’t the end of the story. It’s a repair and a reshoot. Veriweld keeps the lineage: the original result, the repair, and the reshoot that cleared it are linked, so the disposition of every rejected weld is visible rather than buried in a thread of emails.

Because NDT lives in the same project record as the welds it inspects, it’s already in the turnover package. The 49 CFR Part 192 export pulls the NDT results in alongside the weld log, MTR provenance, and audit trail (signed PDFs preserved) instead of a separate binder assembled at closeout.
